The concept of composting from wet waste by Mr. Bhau Katdare is implemented by a joint venture between, Sahyadri Nisarga Mitra, Dow Chemical International Pvt. Ltd. Lote and Chiplun Municipal Council. Their guidance and financial support has resulted in execution of the composting project from wet waste in our premises for four years. We also participate in the initiative for plastic waste management by Sahyadri Nisarga Mitra. Due to all these factors, Chiplun Municipal Council has granted us a 5% discount in the housing tax for the past two years and we have also received a letter for the same from Chiplun Municipal Council. I thank all the residents of Swara Vihar Housing Society as well as all the organizations that have supported and guided us.”
