RZP Primary School, Asgani No. 2 — Construction of Sanitation Facilities

In 2022–23, Sahyadri Nisarga Mitra improved sanitation conditions for 113 students at Asgani No. 2 by building a new washroom block for boys and restoring the existing washroom for girls. The boys’ unit included four urinals, one toilet, and strong roofing, with granite partitions and reliable plumbing. The girls’ facility was enhanced through plastering, fresh paint, new urinals, doors, and laterite partitions. Thanks to this effort, students now have clean, dignified, and healthy sanitation access, leading to reduced illness and absenteeism.

RZP Primary School, Bahiravali — Toilet Block Construction

The school at Bahiravali, located in a remote rural area, previously lacked proper toilet facilities for its 100 students. SNM constructed a 14×8 ft sanitation unit with urinals, a toilet, a septic tank, and a dedicated water tank. The earlier structure was also repaired and repainted for cleanliness. This has helped students develop healthier hygiene practices and reduced sanitation-related health problems.

RZP Primary School, Chirani — Boys’ Toilet Facility

Even though Chirani has only 25 male students, SNM ensured that their basic hygiene needs were not overlooked. A compact toilet block was built with proper roofing, ventilation, and efficient plumbing. A raised 1000-liter water tank ensures dependable water supply. The facility was delivered clean, painted, and ready for immediate use, giving students a safe and modern facility like larger schools.

RZP Primary School, Jambhurde — Roof and Playground Renovation

SNM repaired the leaking roof of the school building using Tata-coated sheets and installed gutters to manage monsoon water. The outdoor amphitheatre was restored and painted, and playground equipment was repaired or replaced where needed. The school now offers both protected indoor learning spaces and a well-maintained outdoor activity area, greatly improving student experience and safety.

RZP Primary School, Mani Morewadi — Toilet Construction

A new compact 11×5 ft toilet block was constructed for growing students, containing both Indian and western toilet types. Strong masonry, proper plastering, premium sanitary fittings, and ventilation were used. This upgrade ensures comfortable access for children of different age groups, supported by a reliable water tank and septic system.

RZP Primary School, Tise — Building Renovation

The school building at Tise was renovated with repairs to windows and doors, plastering, repainting, and clearing accumulated damage. The refreshed building provides a cleaner, brighter environment that uplifts student morale, supports teaching quality, and encourages daily attendance.

Bhartiya Samaj Seva Kendra — Structural Repairs and Safety Measures

Following flood damage in 2021, SNM worked to rehabilitate the Bhartiya Samaj Seva Kendra campus by rebuilding the compound wall, adding two 2000-liter water tanks, repairing plumbing, and improving the washroom and staircase areas. Mosquito-preventing netting was also installed. These upgrades restored safety, cleanliness, and dignity for both residents and staff.
