Sahyadri Nisarga Mitra undertakes infrastructure development projects to ensure that schools and community institutions in rural Konkan have safe, functional, and hygienic facilities. Many of these places struggle with leaking roofs, broken classrooms, unusable toilets, and lack of clean water, which directly affects student attendance, health, confidence, and overall learning quality. By building and improving sanitation blocks, repairing structures, installing drinking water systems, and upgrading learning spaces, SNM supports thousands of children and staff in their daily lives. These improvements not only create better learning environments locally but also contribute to the nation by nurturing healthier, more confident, and better-educated young citizens who grow into responsible and capable individuals for India’s future.

Vishwanath Vidyalaya, Lavel — Modern Washroom Facility SNM built a 1004 sq. ft. washroom facility at Vishwanath Vidyalaya with separate units for girls, boys, and differently-abled children. A wheelchair-friendly ramp makes the facility accessible. Using strong construction materials such as laterite masonry and insulated PUF panels, the building is long-lasting and weather-resistant.
