Devrai Initiative Launched in Chiplun on World Environment Day ?

On the occasion of World Environment Day, a key step toward environmental restoration was taken through the joint effort of the Sub-Divisional Officer, Chiplun and Sahyadri Nisarga Mitra (SNM). A traditional Devrai plantation was initiated under a Green CSR initiative.
Heartfelt thanks to all volunteers, officials, nature lovers, and SNM team who turned this vision into reality.

Bhau Katdare Honoured with ‘Vasundhara Sathi Sanman’ at MaTa Awards ?

In a proud moment for Sahyadri Nisarga Mitra (SNM), Founder and Director Mr. Bhau Katdare was honoured with the prestigious ‘Vasundhara Sathi Sanman 2025’ at the MaTa Sanman Awards by Hon’ble Chief Minister Mr. Devendra Fadnavis.The award, jointly presented by Maharashtra Times (MaTa) and the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), recognises his 33 years of work in wildlife conservation, marine turtle protection, and environmental education across Maharashtra.
